FAQ's

Q: What if I don't want somebody touching me?

A: The logos on the shirt are simply symbols to let others know they can rely on you to listen. They have been placed on the apparel in a way that if someone does tap you, it will not feel intrusive. Please check out our Tap alternatives collection.

Q: What if I find listening to other people challenging?

A: Listening is not an art that everyone naturally possesses, but it is a skill that anyone can learn over time. Please use the Education button for 10 steps to help improve your active listening skills.

Q: What if the person who taps me continues to talk and I need to go?

A: While we always want to make time for others, our own time is also valuable. It's perfectly okay to let someone know from the start that your time today is limited.

Q: What if I feel that someone needs help or advice beyond what I can provide?

A: Let them know that if willing, you will sit with them while they connect with professional support. Please refer them to our Resources button that will provide a list of national support hotlines available to them

Q: What if someone I tap on or that taps on me becomes rude?

A: Above all else your safety and self-worth are most important. You are under no obligation to continue any conversation that makes you uncomfortable. You have every right to excuse yourself and let them know that the interaction is neither productive nor beneficial to either of you.
